I read today about the new 'mash-up novel' of Pride and Predjudice. With Zombies. It sounds like the silliest idea I have ever heard, and I REALLY want to read it.

The opening line is, apparently, It is a truth universally acknowledged that a zombie in possession of brains must be in want of more brains.

This led to a discussion of other potential 'mash-up' classic novels, after one newspaper suggested that the author ahould also write 'Pride and Predator'.

This is our list so far:

Northanger Alien

Cyborgs and Sensibility

Man-eating Zombie Park

Wolverine Heights

What classical mashups can you think of?

Having been forced to read "Tess" at school, I have to confess I consider it a work of horror to begin with...
