remember AGES ago I was excited that Blue Peter came down to film a game we put on specially for them so that Helen Skelton* could skate in a bout with us?

Well, it was on yesterday, and it's really good!

Minor niggle that they mixed up blocker and pivot, but in the whole scheme of things it doesn't really matter, as it's a really nice piece, and explains the rules pretty clearly, and it manages to make derby look awesome, which is quite hard to do on film, despite it being demonstrably AWESOME in real live.

You also see my back a lot, and you see me knocked off my feet and then knocked into a wall! Nice.

* presenter of Blue Peter, the second woman ever to finish the Namibia Ultra Marathon, and the only woman to have Kyaked the ENTIRE Amazon river. So she's pretty badass.

And, while we're being picky, it's Croydon, not Croyden. [grin] Then again, Senser made the same typo - and they were playing there!
