Some choice quotes:

'emo' - part of a sinister teenage craze that romanticises death.

Some describe it as a cult or a sect[...]its followers dress in black, favouring tight jeans, T-shirts, studded belts and sneakers or skater shoes.

emo followers all over the world, talking about death and of the "black parade" — a place where emos believe they go after they die.

I was a troubled teenager, but got through much of it because my Mum and Grannie took me seriously. Both of them were wise enough and perceptive enough to see than, in a way, being a goth saved me. It gave me a community, a family, a support network that I didn't have before.

It breaks my heart - 'don't be so silly'. That poor girl.
