No :) I went for 'childhood' on the assumption that not all of my friends where children in the 80s!

Also, most of us watched children's cartoons well into adolescence, right?

Possibly! I have got silly short hair anyway and as far as I remember Tank Girl has had loads of different haircuts. And I like dressing up in a ridiculous aggressive way, so.
