1. I'm happy with my job but not enormously talented at it. I often think they'd be better off with someone else. I'm paid *reasonably* well - 24k a year but still run out of money every month so I guess I could use more. Part of me thinks that I would run out of money at the end of each month even if I earned twice as much.
2/3. Money isn't a huge motivating factor as long as I can eat, drink, smoke and have somewhere reasonably nice to live. I'd far rather be happy than rich.
6. I don't know you that well outside of LJ but it strikes me with all the brownies, chicken shed etc stuff you'd enjoy doing something arts and community based. Perhaps an outreach officer for a theatre or arts organisation.
4/7. teenytiny_laura I almost burned with jealous rage until I read the barista bit!
I really think that that would suit you! I have a few connections to the ROH - let me know if you fancy Covent Garden and I'll do some digging.
Also, I think you'd enjoy marketing or programme development for a small theatre. People in this sector are always swapping jobs so see if you can get hold of Attractions Management or Leisure Opportunities magazines.
