Community Arts Director
Date: 2008-04-17 01:32 pm (UTC)(also, I fall in between most of the poll answers. I think that so long as you've got enough money to live on, it's all fine. But I could never take a job that would thrust me into absolute poverty just because it was something I fancied doing - I have too many plans for the future for that and none of the things I would like a go at would have much money attached to them whether just starting out or with a lot of experience.)

Date: 2008-04-17 01:52 pm (UTC)1. I'm happy with my job but not enormously talented at it. I often think they'd be better off with someone else. I'm paid *reasonably* well - 24k a year but still run out of money every month so I guess I could use more. Part of me thinks that I would run out of money at the end of each month even if I earned twice as much.
2/3. Money isn't a huge motivating factor as long as I can eat, drink, smoke and have somewhere reasonably nice to live. I'd far rather be happy than rich.
6. I don't know you that well outside of LJ but it strikes me with all the brownies, chicken shed etc stuff you'd enjoy doing something arts and community based. Perhaps an outreach officer for a theatre or arts organisation.
4/7.

Date: 2008-04-17 03:07 pm (UTC)I don't like my job or hate it, I wish I had more money but I know I'm better off than some.... and some other stuff.

Date: 2008-04-17 04:50 pm (UTC)I am happy with elements of my job. Whilst I am well paid and therefore not unhappy with my salary I think I deserve more. I have other jobs - DJ, Writer, Getaway driver, that i do out of love rather than for the money.
I would rather do a job I love and be paid millions
I would rather have a job that I adore - Novelist in the bestseller bracket please
