It's only the flight that is really pricey, once you are out here accomodation and food are quite cheap. Alcohol is RIDONKULOUSLY cheap. I just got 3 bottles of locally made booze - a pink port, a pink dessert wine and a golden muscadel - for R100. This is less than a tenner!
