'Heads up' reminds me of dull 3hr.+ meetings at work when Accenture partners from the States come in and start giving us the 'heads up'. 'Thinking outside the box', 'living our mission statement', 'paradigm shift' and 'synergistic' are some other perennial favorites. We just sit there and smirk.

oooooh. WIth you now! They've not used 'heads up' at ours...That's pronbably too informal. They use 'restructure' for 'making lots of people redundant for no reason' and 'stacking' for 'moving 5 departments on to one floor to save money'.

Absolut Vanilla, white Creme de Cacao, plenty of ice, drained into a chocolate rimmed martini glass. With a chunk of chocolate at the bottom. Avoid if you don't like chocolate I guess.

Talking of 'polite' Gally intends to start drinking at 4pm on New Year's eve. We may be even more 'politely drunk' than usual...

am still on the scary pills, so can't go mad with the drinking. I plan to try and find brightly coloured sweeties and eat them all. Or those really cheap kiddy drinks that are bright blue. A few of them and i'll be bouncing off hte walls.

i don't know about tickets - it's a dafe bet they ain't sold out! we should be putting a flyer up soon for the cheaper price, you can get them on the door.
