My anorak. Let me show you it.
Jun. 15th, 2007 09:11 amI found it!
This morning it struck me that I might have put it with my stuff-to-sell (which has now moved house with me 5 times) in lieu of getting it fixed. So I rummaged through the storage cupboard, and there it was, all orange and mournful, waiting for love.
The zip is still broken, so no help from the magic-cupboard-elves that usually fix things in storage so that when you dig them out you can't remember why you put them in there in the first place as you could have sworn it was broken. I have temporarily remedied this with two safety pins, reasoning it will keep me dryer that not wearing it at all.
Seeing as I have to cycle to tottenham and back today in my lunch hour to pick up the festival tickets, and the BBC reckons that Friday's predominant weather is forecast to be thundery showers¹, it's quite lucky I'm a compulsive hoarder...
1 - although they've since changed it to 'light showers'. May I recommend weather.co.uk, which is right more often...
