What amazing stories, and amazing photos. Jonathan Torgovnik's pictures of mothers with children born through rape during the Rwandan genocide are incredibly moving, Renée C. Byer's pictures of a mother and son going through his time with inoperable cancer are both joyful and intensely sad - the one of him in the wheelchair with a big smile on his face - wow. Finbarr O`Reilly's pictures and stories of the children in a home for children with polio are more uplifting that you'd think.
It really brings it home, how good we really have it here. I think I'm broke - but I can afford food, and a warm home with THINGS around me, I'm safe and healthy.
I really ought to appreciate that more often than I do.
