emmelinemaysome amazing pics of Banksy's work at 3 day exhibit/sale in LA - including a live elephant, painted pink to match the wallpaper.
The comments at the bottom are rally interesting - a real mix of people crying 'sellout', saying banksy makes 'high end far side cartoons' or 'one joke t-shirt slogans'; that he's 'the only one that gets the joke'...
his work has become part of the lifestyle in which he works to subvert. Soon he will be throwing up murals in the lobbies of Soho luxury condos.

The jury is out, for me, personally, about whether the price tags reflect him using the system ironically, or becoming part of it; although i think the two pictures above speak volumes.
Personally, i ♥ Banksy and really enjoyed the pictures, and the idea that 'nobody mentions the elephant'.
