i've looked at buying stuff from there before - and i have a lot of friends who buy from there too - basically it works if you A - club together and order a load of stuff (as the shipping cost is the same whatever then) or B - have it posted to a US friend to sen it over htemselves marked as gift (which we've done)
It's not a tax, it's an extortionat shipping charge, and the main problem is if customer open it, you get a customs charge for a percentage value of the cost of the goods. agin, if there is a group of you sharing the cost this isn't so bad. The goods can still be opened mareked gift, but it's much less likely.
My main issue with buying from them was i wasn't sure of my size. Now i know what size i need, bring on pay day!

They would never suspect anything, we are allowed to buy "gifts" for other people as long as we don't accept any kind of payment for the product... as far as they know ;o]
