I love BMI as a measure of fatness. It means that despite an ever expanding waist-line I can pretend that I am not getting fat! Hurrah for BMI!

Ha ha, it's funny you mention that. We (ie, myself and the other 2 practice nurses) all took a stand last year and refused to enter BMI measurements when we did well person screening. Sure we'd happily do the weight and height measurements, but not BMI because it's a pile of sweaty bollocks. The health board didn't give a crap though!
