In the metro, it suggested that Jake Gyllenhal was tipped as being Two Face in the next Batman!! How much would that ROCK!!?!?

My paper seems quite certain he'll do Dent. Nothing's on IMDB though, so I maybe the papers should be a tiny bit less sure?

Hm, not sure about Gyllenhall - he can do the nice/crazy bit, but he's still a bit young.

you knew who i meant. normally good actor = too old for harvey dent. it needs to be someone who can look about the same age as batman (and lordy i hope it's christian bale again!!) because they're meant to be the same ages. i hated two face in the last one. actually, i hated the joel shumacher ones. they SUCKED.

God yeah, particularly Batman & Robin, which actually made Batman Forever look almost good in places.... almost.

I was hoping to like Two-Face, because I thought it was the sort of role Tommy Lee Jones could actually pull off, but he camped it up so badly that it fucked it up completely.

Unfortunately, the best person I can think of to play Dent at the moment is Bale himself, mainly because it's not that far removed from his American Psycho persona. I'm just not sure Gyllenhall could convince as a DA. Hm, come to think of it, I could kinda see Matt Damon in the role, much as I usually don't like him.

I think Gyllenhall is prety good actually - he was great as donnie darko, if that's anything to go buy he could be pretty good. I think Brad Pitt would do it rather well actually - think 12 monkeys!
