Ah, but the Ides landed on the 15th in the old Julian Calendar and today is the 15th according to the Gregorian Calendar so surely that makes it not really the Ides?

i read that the actual anniversary of Ceaser's assassination will be 28th March, but the 15th of march is still the ides. If you see what i mean!
