So glad!! I enjoyed the episode :)

I fail at facial recognition - is the guy at the end in the storage box a really buffed up Peter? And what was that stuff about Nathan looking in the mirror? Theories - what's the whole brother and sister thing? She flips out and kills people if her brother isn't there or something?

The hidey thing is black text on black background BTW. Not sure you you do it in HTML, but is very easy with the lj-hook firefox addon. If you do leave spoilers in the comments, it would be great if you did something like this too, so not to ruin it for others...

here's the heroes page - it's season 2, 'four months later'. There's 3 options, the only one that worked for me was the stage 6 [alt] one - i never have much luck with the ouou ones- they take FOREVER to load on my laptop and the other stage 6 one was taking a million years to buffer.

MSCL is one of the best shows EVER.

I always wanted to be Rayanne. But it's pretty obvious to me now i'm growned up that i am blatantly Angela and Rayanne is Sally...

Angela's dad is in a really awesome CSI episode!! Check out series 2 episode called 'the finger' on tv-links!

haha, me too (the Ray/Ange malarkey). Angela's dad was also in an episode of House that I watched last week - i saw you've been getting into that too! I just loved that MSCL showed the parents' perspective as well as the kids, so watching it all grown up, you get a whole new dimension to it.

hurrah for Heroes, but it is now my bedtime, so I shall have to save it for tomorrow night. It is favourited and ready to go!

Re 2 - I suspect it's real, and more or less the point of this series.
3 - You've seen it. She just can't control it.

There's speculation that the brother's power is neutralising/keeping in check whatever it is that the sister does to kill people, so they have to stay together.

There is also speculation that Peter absorbed Jessica's power as well as Niki's strength, which has been postulated to be post-mortem consciousness transfer, so he transferred his consciousness to Nathan upon exploding. But, of course, he'd also absorbed Claire's regeneration, so once his body regenerated, it no longer had Peter's consciousness inside it.

This is a very leftfield way-out-there interpretation of events, though.

hmm - I'm not so sure on the nikki/jessica/peter/nathan thing - i don't think that would work based on how the jess/nik character was set up in the first series.

It gave the impression that jess had a split personality, based on her dead sister, that she'd developed due to sexual abuse, and that she called it 'Nikki' - the power is just the strength, it's just that Jessica didn't know she had it unless Nikki was in control. That's what i thought anyway - that Jessica's power is super strength - untapped due to the psychological issues. Unless it's the power of channelling her dead super-strong sister? or the power of 'being a bit bonkers'. I guess the post-mortem consciousness' thing would cover the 'channelling her dead sister' thing, but IMO it's a bit of a stretch...

Unless they flesh out what Jessica's power *actually was* and manage to make it make sense.

The brother and sister thing was my conclusion too - like yin/yang sort of thing. The writers like their mysticism!

Thank you so much for the heads up! Having seen all series one a couple of months ago, I have not been watching it and I am going to buy it on DVD when they are released but watching it just now has renewed my love and excitement!!
