So other day I amused myself on an otherwise bleak nightbus journey by taking random photos of random things with the 'night' setting on my phone.

I assume it's something to do with long exposure or slow shutter speed or something (any photographers out there maybe can explain to me!) but I like the way everything comes out sort of blurry, and by moving the phone slightly you can get dancing lights and strange reflections.

Some of the photos are more successful than others, but there are some I rather like.

Cool pics!
You're right about the long exposure.

I was pleased with the skull ones - i was trying to make it look like a threatening skull face was hovering over parts of london - rather than my handbag reflected in a bus window :D

I really like that abstract first one.

that's probably my favourite too.

I have no idea *which* bit of the N76 route that is, but it doesn't look like any view out of a bus window. I think it looks like a blown glass bowl or something.
