Tickets aren't avilable yet, but will be very soon. I will have some to sell before they go on general sale - if you DEFINITELY want to come, let me know, and I'll get you one. I only have tickets to sell up until the 8th, after that, you'll have to buy it on the website.

I'm a member of the London Roller Girls, but doubt I'll be competing, as they have a number of girls who are considerably better than me to go on the team!

I was wondering about that - we just got a whole list of things we have to be able to do before we can be on the team like doing circuits in 12 seconds (I'm currently at 17 seconds and can't push it down :( and "whipping" which i've only seen done on 1940s videos on youtube!

I've practised whipping, but haven't quite got the knack yet, I've only been with them for a month or so though.

I'm sure I'll be able to do a 12 second lap if (when) I get shiny shiny awesome skates of awesomeness.

It's the big three-oh coming up this year, and I've asked my family to just give me money towards skates. I'm not sure they've taken me entirely seriously, especially when I've said that the skates I want cost at least $300...

Spent a bit of time with some Gotham Roller Girls a few years back when we were on holiday in NYC. Didn't get a chance to see them play, but boy do they know how to party hard!! \m/
