First video clip I've seen of roller derby that shows how awesome it actually is. It's really hard to film!!!

I think this one shows how brutal and how much fun it can be.

It's odd, but I still don't 'get' it. I think Roller Derby and pole dancing will remain just a few of life's mysteries to me :p

I'm already designing a rollergirl for one of the Manchester lot :) No reason why we can't arrange an Emmie rollergirl tattoo too!

I used to love roller skating, but I do struggle to understand what roller derby is, or does, except end in pain and bodily damage :p Maybe it's my pacifistic tendancies getting in the way (haha, says me while listening to punk)!

True...nearest I got was track cycling sprinting, which I LOVED when I was out in front, but the initial 'sparring' with the opposition to break away ultimately made me give up the sport because I didn't like the hurting others/being hurt aspect (elbowing in the ribs and nutting each other were common place, although I tended to receive the abuse rather than give, lol).

Ah yes, I'll try to find some time to design your feet skulls soon, although things are mad right now and due to get more so! Once we've sorted those out for you maybe we look at a sexy rollergirl pinup too =D

I don't think I'd like the cycling sprinting much!! I've always loved roller skating though.

I do find the contact aspect the hardest to get used to - I'm trying to get over my fear of hitting and being hit. Other people just get that straight away, and find the skating skills harder to master.

YAY ink :) It would also be super cool just to see you, it's been so long! I'm really glad everything is going so well for you ink-wise!!

Hmm. Where can my rollergirl tattoo go? Maybe on my thigh to cover up that truly awful bat tattoo, and so you'd only see it when i've got my roller girl hotpants on...

I love pinups on thighs/legs, so maybe that's a good plan! :)

It'll probably be a while before we can do it anyway, so you have plenty of time to think about it.

I'm going to be in London on Friday 11th July (probably the Saturday night too) for the Specimen/Batcave event, so if there's anything happening that Saturday let me know. Currently back-up plan is Slimelight, so if you fancy that or a few drinks in a pub first maybe we could try for that. I haven't been to Slimes in, gosh, probably four years! It's been far too long since I last saw you.

I shall have to check my diary - I have a feeling there's a birthday that saturday, I'm not sure if I'll be awake enough to go to slimes after, but if you're there I'll make an especial effort to go!!
