Having only really decided we HAD to get the Ting Tings album because That's Not My Name sort of sounds like 'Hey Mickey', and kafunked wanted to try to make a mash up for my birthday, we've have decided that it's probably the best album of the year so far.

Check it out if you like indie, rock, electro, girly pop, 80s music, the lot. It's brilliant.

It is a surprisingly excellent album... although I only say "surprisingly" because it got bad reviews all over the place. If it hadn't been for the reviews, I'd have expected it to be good anyway.

(The problem comes with the syncopation on the Ting Tings track I think, it seems like the vocals come in on the second beat and over-run into the next phrase. I might have a crack at doing one when I am away as this is only 30 seconds odd)

That band have been winding me up more and more over the past few months. Nearly gave up XFM because of them (especially That's not my name. Gah!).

Every new song just adds to my hatred.
