Ok, so it's a little bit cheesy, some of the writing is less that genius, and it's not exactly doing anything particularly original, but I am enjoying Being Human SO MUCH. Episode 5 had me screaming in frustration when it ended.

I am enjoying it more than any other British drama I've seen in ages, apart from maybe Dr Who.

I was a little disappointed at first as I didn't think it quite lived up to the pilot, but I have been enjoying it none-the-less.

I think, for a comedy-drama, it perhaps needs more humour. Mitchell's character is way too emo for jokes so most of the humour comes from George (who I think is brilliant) and Annie.

Anyone else watching?

You bet I am watching! Love it. Mitchell does have his funny moments, but George is the one who regularly manages to make my cry with laughter.

Fab. I only have the one so far.
There was some TV interview with 'George' last week and he is so camp! It's very cute. Russell Tovey is lovely.

I like it although it isn't very funny, merely inane.
I like the very english approach to being a vampire, drinking beer and smoking rollies, but with black eyes for effect.

Nope. The pilot had potential, but what I've seen of the series (1st episode and a bit of another one) I found painful to watch, bad in every possible way.

It's definitely more drama than comedy-drama - although I have been enjoying it. I do need to catch up on the last two episodes, though. Then again, most of the humour seems to be from the characters being witty/sarcastic in themselves, rather than the kind of cringeworthy "situation comedy" that I'm not especially keen on. Maybe the change from comedy-drama to drama came with the recasting of Mitchell. Although I think I preferred the original Annie, this one's growing on me.

I love that the comedy is character led. I'm with you on Annie, I was gutted at first they re-cast her as I thought the original actress did a really good job, but I think this girl is getting stronger as it goes on. Annie's a pretty weakly written character really, and she's doing a great job.

It is indeed an awesome show. Such a shame the series is so short!

That is still ridiculously short if you compare it to American series... but at least they have planned a second show.

I'm really enjoying the series too. Doesn't seem quite as dark as the pilot looked like it might be in places, but it's still really good. George is definitely my favourite character.

I'm a couple of episodes behind - I don't *adore* it the way I did the pilot, but I've been enjoying it.
